How to join the contest?
1) You will need to be a MOCCA member and join the Techie Monster Tribe.
2) Post an article in about 100 words with a picture and tell us why you find the download useful.
3) Tell us about the website we can go to find the download.
4) Tag the article ‘Hot Download'
5) Every post should have only one recommendation. You can post as many times as you like.
6) All downloads have to be legal and must not infringe any copyrights.
7) Contest ends 24 May 2009
8) A winning list will be published in Techie Monster after the contest ends.
All winners will be notified through their Member's Message Inbox located at the top right-hand corner after you've logged in ( tip-off : turn on the email notification at your dashboard and an email will be sent to you when there is a message)

How to increase your chances of winning?
- The download will need to be unique and hot, and not a common one that everyone is using. So being a free download ups your chances but may not guarantee a win since there are so many free ones available.
- The more downloads you recommend, the higher your chances of having your recommendation picked.
- The winner will be picked based on how useful and unique the download is, as well as how interesting your entry is written. If Techie Monster loves it, you win!

Terms & Conditions:
•1. This contest is organised by Techie Monster and is open to only MOCCA members except employees of MOCCA and all its related companies and their immediate families. Participants below the age of 21 years must obtain parental consent.
•2. All Techie Monster participants are required to fill in their personal particulars (Full Name, NRIC, Contact Number & Email) to facilitate prize dissemination should the participant be selected as a winner. All invalid or incomplete details will have their submission disqualified immediately.
•3. The Last Day for submission will be 24 May 2009.
•4. The manner in which the giveaway is conducted shall be at Techie Monster's sole discretion. Due to the nature of the giveaway, no appeals or reconsiderations shall be entertained.
•5. Techie Monster will contact the winner(s) through their Member's Message Inbox. Winner(s) will also be announced in the Techie Monster Tribe on or after 24 May 2009.
•6. All winners will be notified on the method of prize collection after the results are posted. All winner(s) must respond to Techie Monster for collection of their prize within two weeks after the date of the notification as stated, failing which Techie Monster reserves the right to disqualify such winner. Prizes not collected within 1 month from date of personal notification will be forfeited.
•7. In the event the winners cannot be contacted at their Member's Message Inbox as indicated, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, at the discretion of the contest organizers.
•8. Techie Monster or MOCCA assumes no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, damaged or illegible entries or for wrong, inaccurate, failed, incomplete or delayed electronic transmissions. Proof of submitting entries does not constitute proof of receipt by Techie Monster. In any event Techie Monster shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever suffered or incurred by any participant arising from participation in this contest or any failure or refusal, for whatever reason, to deliver the prize or make good on any promise or offer to the participants.
•9. All prizes are not exchangeable for cash or otherwise. Techie Monster reserves the right to substitute, add to or alter any of the prizes offered with or without any notice.
•10. Each participant shall take part in any promotional or publicity exercise which may be conducted by Techie Monster or MOCCA in connection with this contest, including without limitation any interviews in any media, and each participant hereby grants Techie Monster or MOCCA all consents necessary to record and use the participant's name and other particulars, recordings and footages of interviews etc in any manner as Techie Monster or MOCCA deems fit.
•11. All information (including any personally identifiable information) submitted by participants for this contest may be collected and used by Techie Monster or MOCCA for such purposes as it deems fit, including without limitation communicating with the participant and/or sending information and promotional materials about Techie Monster or MOCCA or its business associates. Unless otherwise indicated, Techie Monster or MOCCA shall deem all information supplied by participants as non-confidential, which hereby discharges all obligations of confidentiality. Techie Monster or MOCCA shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute the information to third parties without limitation.
•12. Breach of any of these terms and conditions shall immediately disqualify a participant from participation at any stage of this giveaway, and any prizes won shall be forfeited, withheld or withdrawn.
•13. Techie Monster reserves the right to amend, delete or add to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and to cancel, postpone or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice and without any liability on its part whatsoever.
This contest and these terms and conditions shall be governed by Singapore laws.

Yo, just being curious, does posting articles of a general site for software eg.www.portablefreeware.com count? because what i've seen some people done is just that instead of recommending a specific program etc. Thanks in advance!

jjho, look at step 4 at http://community.mocca.com/articles/post-article?tribes=2171 for inserting picture into your article. Click and look around. I am sure you will get the hang of it.

jjho, you are supposed to upload the image into the article for the contest. Look at yest's article upload page (the page you write and edit your article), there is a tool bar there that you can use to upload at the text field.
